Low temperature resistant silicone rubber refers to silicone rubber with a working temperature of - 100 ℃. Its mechanism is different from that of room temperature silicone rubber. It is obtained by introducing methylphenyl siloxane chain or diphenyl siloxane chain into the molecular chain of methyl vinyl silicone rubber. Phenyl was introduced into the side group of polysiloxane, which destroyed the structural regularity of dimethylsiloxane and greatly reduced the crystallization temperature of the polymer. The working temperature of the resultant silica gel was extended to - 100 ℃.
Advantages and disadvantages:
1. Advantages: small compression permanent deformation, wide temperature range, oxidation resistance, weather resistance, shock resistance, moisture-proof and good electrical insulation, low temperature resistance, ablation resistance and radiation resistance.
2. Disadvantages: With the increase of phenyl content, the rigidity of silicone rubber molecular chain gradually increases, and the low-temperature resistance of silicone rubber gradually decreases. However, with the increase of phenyl content, the flame resistance and radiation resistance of vulcanizate are improved.

Low temperature resistant fluororubber is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether (PAVE). The polymer monomer PAVE is added into the polymer chain, and its dosage is usually between 20% and 40% mole ratio according to the different structure of the polymer monomer.
Advantages and disadvantages:
1. Advantages: low temperature resistant fluororubber has the functions of high temperature resistance, oil resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, aging resistance, etc.
2. Disadvantages: elasticity, low temperature resistance and poor performance.
